Need battery operated lights for shows
I'm wondering if there is such a thing as lights that are battery operated that can be used for both indoor and outdoor shows. I make dichroic jewelry and light certainly helps show the effect. At times I've taken pieces out of the tent into the sunlight. I am hoping there might be an easier way.
Check out these threads, they should be informative...Search the old archives too. There might be some info there as well.

For portable electric here is what I did. It is working for me. I run lights, printer, and sometimes my laptop if I forget to charge the thing. Deep marine battery, inverter but get a bigger one than you think you will need because things seem to work better. I put both these things in a big plastic container hook up the inverter to the battery then the other things to the inverter. Works well. I am actually thinking of adding a couple of other things to drain the battery a little more like a hair dryer or heat gun. Back in the archives there is a formula for how many hours of electric you can get depending on what you run. I don't know it off hand. Hope this is of some help. I think my set up box and all was around $150.
