Hi,
I'm making a fairly simple sconce, but I'm trying to figure out how to fire a copper inclusion to use as a hanger.
I've thought about making a tunnel across the middle of the piece with fiber board when fusing and then filling tunnel with copper wiring. HOw thick of copper can I use?
Perhaps I can just fuse the copper between two pieces, but I'm concerned
about trapping bubbles around teh wiring and weakening the hold. Any ideas?
Thanks

copper inclusions

Yes I suppose testing is enevitable, but I was hoping to avoid as many problems as possible before trying it. Have you tried firing copper wire between two 6X8 1/8" pieces with success? How does teh heaviness effect the inclusion?
Thanks for your help.
