MK-101 tile saw for $650; good price?

Post by Valerie Adams »

I'm looking at a gently used tile saw. Can anyone tell me if this is a good price please. It comes with a stand.

Excellent price for an excellent saw. I paid over $1000 with the stand.

I paid about that price for a new MK 101 at Lowes a couple years. So used should be less, IMO.

The factory-reco MK-101s go for about that price on eBay, from the looks of things. You might look at those as well.

I'd also ask about the blade, because if you've got to buy a good glass blade to go with it, that'll add to the price.

Just got an MK 101 w/hotdog blade for $280. Bought a stand for $49 at Costco (portable work bench).
Pump had just been replaced and had the switch alteration done on it already.

Craigslist.
