POT MELT, AGAIN

Post by Havi »

Hi alL

Can I re-use a pot for a pot-melt?
I understand that there will remain some glass on the pot after having fired it. Is it still possible to re-use the pot?

I plan to do my own clay pot, as I want to be million % sure it is clay and nothing else. Can it be re-used ?.

Any tips as to how to construct it? Bigger, squarish hole? etc.

Many thanks,
Havi

Yes, you can re-use it. But I'd make sure that the colors/glasses you use on the nth use will work with the ones used in previous melts with that pot.
