12" Laps - Glastar B12 vs CrystalMaster

Post by lbailey »

Settling in on a table top 12" model due to space issues but can't seem to find any specific differences between the Glastar model and the CrystalMaster. I have used a CrystalMaster in class but have never seen a Glastar up close. Based on pictures and published specs they seem identical. Might even be the same machine, just branded differently?

I'd appreciate any pros and cons between the two, thanks!

Glastar makes both machines. The variable speed versions are the same, though in some configurations the B12 has the steel plate you need to attach discs as an option, while it's standard on the CrystalMaster Pro.

Also, the B12 comes in a fixed speed model with a larger motor, while the CrystalMaster only comes in the variable speed version.
