I am the proud possessor of a used Somaca belt sander (full sized), which we just wrestled into my garage studio. Now I need to get some belts for it. Does anyone know of a company that might sell full sized belts in the Portland area? (I have the one that came with the sander, so I can figure the size.)
Thanks! Dorrie

Re: Sander Belts
If its a full size Somaca, then it's a 106 x 4" belt. They are available from CR Laurence. They only sell to industry, but if you have one nearby, drive there and tell the salesman that you're a glass artist and you just bought a Somaca wet belt sander and want to buy belts. They may let you have an account without much hassle.
