looking for a metallic look in stringer. what's available?

I've seen 1 and 2mm dichroic stringer in clear and black. Problem for me is that they can roll, covering the dichro, which is only coated on one side of them. I bought some dichroic coated rods once from Pacific Art Glass but they were short, only about 8" long.
I've coated stringer in hairspray and rolled in mica or other luster powders but that's a more subtle look.

Just ran out and bought some clear dichroic stringer. (yes, my nearest supplier is open on Sundays!). On clear, you don't have the problem with them rolling..
