Black plate with a red puddles window

Post by Anne-Claire »

Here is my first post, a 9 mm Bullseye glass plate :
3 mm black, 6 mm clear, white and red stripes and a window made of puddles (thanks to Paul Tarlow's puddles tutorial).
It was fun to make it, I hope you'll enjoy the pictures.

I'd like to thank you all for the advice, information and discussions one can find in this forum. They were really helpful for me.

A very striking design and well executed. A special achievement keeping the long red and white lines that angle across the plate so straight.

Vonon, the lines are 6mm wide Bullseye stripes, on the edge. Forgot to mention the clear glass is on top of the black one, so we see the stripes from top and side.

Thank you so much for your kind comments.

Thank you for posting this. I love your work. It is exactly my color pallet... I love black, red and white. I am going to have to read that tutorial that inspired you. Perhaps I can get good results, too. Thank you again for sharing your lovely work.

Thank you for the link to the tutorials. I am excited to experiment. I loved the "puddles" and also the "pressed glass"tutorials. I will be trying these out this fall.I will post my efforts when completed. Thank you again.
