Best deals on Paragon kilns?

Post by oregonstu »

I'm thinking about buying either a Pargon Pearl 22, or a CS 26. Does anyone here have any experience with either of these kilns? Any ideas on where to find the best deals?

Bullseye is having their kiln sale from the 24-27. Best prices I've seen on the 22.

I don't know about those models but I just got 2 GL24AD-TSDs from Ceramic Store in Philadelphia for about 2600 each. List is 3500. Look around.

As mentioned Bullseye has a good sale going on, but you have to walk into one of their 4 locations to get the deal. No on line orders. (or so they say)

Most of the big online ceramic supply stores will sell a variety of kiln brands including Paragon. Sign up for their mailing list to hear about the sales they all have 3 to 4 times a year.

BigCeramicStore.com is pretty good or try Baileypottery.com

Paragon will sell direct but I think it's always list price, you will do better getting one of the free shipping deals these guys have every so often.

Good luck - Mark

Here's another source:

American Glass Supply
http://www.americanglasssupply.com/html ... kilns.html

If you order more from them, they offer reduced pricing (even more so than the prices listed on their site).

The website doesn't have a shopping cart, so you submit the order, and then they provide you with an invoice.

I purchased at Paragon Pearl 22 in January this year. Bob Paterson (GlassMakerTX@gmail.com) helped me to decide what to get based on the work I wished to do and then he worked with Paragon to have the kiln and a special stand configured etc. for me. He is very informed about all things glass!! Plus you get personalized support from him throughout the process. He also handles fabulous glass cutters as well.

I have ordered a couple of kilns from Clay-King.com. Quick delivery and very good prices (they were the cheapest when I was looking).
