I'd like to know what types of tile saws are being used for glass these days and what works well(or not)?thanks for sharing! :)

In a word, or two, MK-101. A great tile saw, only for straight cuts, trimming, pattern bars, etc.

I like the one thay have at the local hardware/rental store. Of course, it helps that they let me use it for free :wink:
I only mention this because it may help you to build up a bunch of stuff, then rent a tile saw to see how you like it. You'd get to become intimately familiar with one saw, and perhaps learn something about what strengths or weaknesses to look for. You'd also get a little work done along the way.
