I have been trying to cut a pattern bar ( approx. 1"x1") with a tile saw that has a 8" diamond wheel. The cut seems to go well until the last bit where a chunk of the the bar breaks off and leaves a nub on the pattern tile I have just cut. Does anyone have any suggestions on how I might achieve a clean uniform cut?
another trick is when you create the pattern bar put clear all around the "pattern" that way when chip outs do occure you are not losing the actual pattern. good luck.
Rotate your block so that you are always cutting towards the center. Another good tip is to NEVER put white glass on the outside edges of a pattern bar, it's so hard it almost always chips. Brock
My memory is so good, I can't remember the last time I forgot something . . .
