I'm in the process of making a half-dozen yin-yang symbols for the members of my Tai-Chi class. These will be small 1" in diameter. I'm wondering if anyone has any ideas for stacking the pieces to cut out the shapes on the bandsaw so they will all be matched for the fuse?
what bandsaw are you using? please note that if you're going to be using a ringsaw, don't. someone i knew did this to a stacked set of pieces, the blade shattered because of movement between the layers, and wound up through their palm.
I have the Taurus II and they definitely tell you NOT to saw more than one single layer of glass at a time. I have cut a few fused small pieces that I wanted to redesign and went very slowly. But I would not stack glass and try to cut through it.
