Food & IRS

I think I know the answer but would like someone to tell me who knows for sure: Is BE or URBOR IRS side up and food compatible? like in dinner and salad plates?

Lani just posted a few days ago that BE had their Irids tested by FDA, totally food safe. I assume Uroboros is the same, but don't know for sure. You can probably find the info on their website...

It seemed to me that what Lani said didn't really address the issue. The irrid is presumably safe as long as it stays on the ware. One might speculate that if the irrid itself was consumed, it could at least present a threat of injury if not poisoning. I wonder if the testing covered that issue.
