6.5 inch diam. It took me a while to get used to my kiln and to figure out fusing/slumping schedules, etc. I certainly have to thank this board for a ton of help and information!

I also want to say: good for you in posting your first project!!!! I have been fusing for 3 years now and still haven't figured out how to post a picture or even get up the nerve to post one. Congrats!!! and keep up the great work..

Again, thank you all for your kind words. I worked in stained glass for years, but I am getting much more satisfaction from working with my kiln....the feel of the glass, the weight, the shine.... I love to peek in through the peep hole and watch the glass move...so organic! You are all quite an inspiration. Oh, and I use BE glass, double rolled....dig the opaque colors!
