I am trying to send on my pm a photo which is less than 150 kb, and the computer refuses to post it.
Can you tell why?
It says its too big, but I resized it!

Hi, Havi. I tried to add a photo that was large and got an error message that 256K was the size limit. I attached a photo that was 203K with no problem. When I check the properties of the photo, the board software has further reduced the file size to 36K. I left the photo attached so you can see it.

As Lynn said, the maximum is 256KB, for both posts and attachments to private messages.

There is a limit of one photo per PM, so if you're trying to do more than one photo that would not work.

I tried again. The photo WAS 600 kb, NOW, at 50 kb - the board still refuses to accept it. I get "the extension is too big".
I know how to post a photo, I posted on the WGBB, therefore I am more confused that it does not work now.
I just gave it another try to no avail.
I shall try resize another photo and see if it will accept the other one.

That's a very strange error message. I'm not sure what it means.

Havi, what is the extension on the file name, and it should be 3 characters. eg. picturetitle.jpg
