Because of my recent installation, I thought it would be a great idea to have a web page dedicated to information about how to display your glass. I hope to be able to share links, information, and resources to help others choose the method that fits their needs. Or at least point them in the right direction. Bumping to remind self later

I've been buying plate stands at Ross, the discount clothing store. they have great ones and they are very inexpensive, $5-$7. I buy them in bulk and then just pull out the one that suits my design best.

There is a ton of stuff in the archives. I use a lot of hang your glass stand-offs but am moving to L hooks (sold by bullseye).

There is a cheap little downloadable ebook called "Easy to make gallery stands for fused glass artists". Google it. Although the title mentions stands, it also covers hangers. Peter

I scour places like Big Lots for cheap frames and cheap framed art. I remove the backing board and the art and epoxy my work to the cover glass, which can then be hung easily. A carefully chosen frame can make for nice presentation as well. You can also put two frames together and add an LED strip or flashlight bulb to make a backlit shadowbox, if appropriate.

I go to thrift stores for their framed art. I remove the "art," replace it with a piece of The Thrifty White 32 sq. ft. MDF Panel Board (from Homo Depot), screw 4 L hooks into the board, then place the glass on that.
