curtain rod finials

Post by Diane Allen »

I have been asked to make some curtain rod finials.
Has anyone here done this before? If so what did you use for the hardware, I haven't been able to find anything on the web but am wondering if I could make something?

Glass curtain rod finials are easily available and very cheap... so why bother??

Because it is a commission and she would be willing to pay for custom work?
I try not to turn down jobs that come along unless I have to. :)

buy copper cap fittings that fit the size of rod they are using and then glue the copper to the glass. they make the copper caps to make a dead end run for your plumbing.
