Bit of light helps.

This piece is now home safe and sound. Was pushed for time to realise before exhibition what I wanted to share. From the start this piece kept evolving from the original concept, but the goal was always to achieve a dream like state. Some moments clear, others hazy and the entry into the subconscious plane. It did allow me to to exhibit a custom bowl to show as NFS. No interest in either so its status quo for my little corner of the world. peace, haydo

The glass piece is magical. Beautiful colors and enough variation in color and texture to make it feel similar to the relaxation of looking at a well appointed fish tank. How is the lighting done?

Thanks Vonon, I hope I don't get tired of it once completed. For this image I used lecy tape to fix a LED strip to one side and the base. I bought the strip from a hardware chain here in Oz but am sure there would be other options on the net from specialist lighting company's. It's the first time I've used LEDs even though my eldest has been on to me for years to give them a go. peace, haydo

I really like this, too. It has a very engaging feel for me: pulls me in to look more carefully and enjoy. Thanks.

Appreciate the compliment Tod, especially of being engaged. I'd guess that is what we'd all like,is people who view our work manage to see it. My wife hasn't been keen on it from the start but now with proof of how it may look with LEDs is looking forward to the day when it sits on her bedside table. peace, haydo
