Hello ! I will try to explain. I want to make a necklace of cubics 1 x 1 x 1 cm , where the height will be a little more, as I take 4 layers of transparent glass.
For the holes I had the idea a 1 - 1,5 mm ceramic rope, using it the whole length for as many cubics as I can place on my kiln-plate. Full fuse them. Then I have to get a shiny gloss on ALL the sides. Is the rope still strong enough to hang it with the cubics between kiln stands to fire again ?? Sorry, more and more difficult for me to find the right words in English.
I hope it is clear. Jan de Jong

use a kiln wash coated stainless steel welding rod. I don't think rope will hold up the weight.

You can find the rods at any welding supply store.
