You said that you do not want a pryometer.. does that mean you want a computer controler.. ie a 3 key controller?

Attie- you DO want a pyrometer, you may not need a controller.
You'll want to know what happens at which temps; it'll cut down the time you spend sitting next to the kiln looking in.

Sorry for my ignorance ( as usual ) I meant no dial control. I hate it.

If you don't want a dial control, what are you looking for, the controller, ie 3 key controller?

one of my original kilns was the GF8 with a seperate 12 key controller. Boy, what that an upgrade from the ceramic kiln and the pryometer. When I got a larger kiln I made sure that there would be room for me to keep the GF8. I love it.. Great size for a medium size shelf. The way they do the new tops now is a great improvement.. No more pins. (Does not do good for my kiln repair business though).
