French cleats, source for

Post by Paul Housberg »

Back on the old board someone had posted a source for aluminum (I think) French cleats. Found the thread but couldn't find the source (link may be dead). Can anyone help?

Thanks,
Paul

If you are interested in acrylic French cleats, I am working with a fabricator and should be able to distribute some shortly. They work well with translucent pieces.

Will post on classifieds once I have some questions resolved.

There are also some steel cleats that work the same way; they're called "Z-bar" and can be ordered from most framing shops.

1/2" plywood. 4" wide piece ripped at 45 degree angle down the middle.
