follow-up: fusing flat a slumped piece and re slumping

Thanks to everyone for their input,I fused the slumped piece flat, I fused
at 400 to 1050 held for 25min.,250 to1250 held 10min.,400 to 1400 held 5min. There is no variation in the thickness,and no apparent change in size,at least that I can see.However ,there are the slump marks on the back(bottom)There were marks after slumping too,maybe I could have used "back magic" not sure.But the thing that really suprises me is the fact that if you look at the top(at an angle),which is very nicely polished,you can faintly see the the bamboo design.(I had to point it out to my wife).
So Next I will etch again and slump at a lower and slower slump than previously.
How low a temp can I slump this Spectrum 14",and maintain the etch.
