Privacy Statement

Your Privacy
The Warm Glass website is committed to protecting your privacy. We use the information we collect about you to manage access to the Warm Glass bulletin board, process orders for items sold on the sites, and to send out occasional notices about Warm Glass events and information. Please read on for more details about our privacy policy.

What Information Do We Collect? How Do We Use It?
When you sign up for the Warm Glass bulletin board.  To do this, we ask for an e-mail address, a mailing address, and a telephone number.  The address and telephone information is used for verification purposes; it is retained in a database that is kept off the internet, but it is not sold or given to others.  Your email address may also be used to send you information about the bulletin board, the website, or related topics.  Personal information is never sold or given to others.

When you order from either warmglass.com or our sister site warmglass.org, we need to know your name, e-mail address, mailing address, credit-card number and expiration date. This allows us to process and fulfill your orders and to notify you of your order status.   Information gathered during the ordering process is obtained via secure servers, is not sold or given to others, and is used only to process orders.

As mentioned above, we sometimes use the information we collect to occasionally notify you about important changes to the Web site, new services, and information we think you'll find valuable. If you would rather not receive this information, please notify us and we will stop sending you this information.

How Does the Warm Glass website protect customer information?
There are two situations where the Warm Glass website asks for personal information.  We ask for it when you register for the bulletin board.  Address and related personal information given when registering is not maintained online, and is used for verification purposes.  Email addresses used on the bulletin board are stored in a secure online database.  They are never shared with others and are not publicly visible or available.

We also ask for personal information (including credit card information) when you place an online order.  This information is collected by an independent credit card agency and maintained on their server in a secure database.  Information given when placing an order is used to fulfill that order and to communicate with you about your order.

What About "Cookies"?

Will Warm Glass Disclose the Information it Collects to Outside Parties?
Warm Glass does not sell, trade or rent your personal information to others.
