Hi Lori,

Yes, I think I can do a lower temp. This one, I believe went to 1250. I don't have my notes with me right now, so it's off the top of my head.

avoiding sag in a mold

Hi everyone! I did this marvelous little dish for a friend, and I'd like to replicate it... without the saggy sides. The mold is pretty steep. What recommendations can you make to reduce this problem. Should I cut the glass any differently, or is it all in the firing schedule? And can you suggest a ...

On that shape you should be able to do it at 630ºC maximum, Possible 610ºC with 30min soak. You are doing it at 685ºC Lower temperature usually leads to less marking on the bottom of the mould. Thank you Roseanna,
I ran this by Valerie Adams also, and she agreed that it looks like texture from the mold. She suggested a different schedule for me to try, and I am going to give it a go.
