I want to experiment with making fused glass lampshades. My question is what is the best way to form the opening for the vase cap and how to attach it.

I was planning on using my kiln and put wash on the shelf and something came up. Surprise! How long can you leave kiln wash on a shelf? Days, weeks?

Now that I checked the instructions, which were not on the main label, I should have used distilled water. Haze may be minerals from tap water? Wondering if refiring would help?

I use primo primer and for the first time it has adhered to the bottom of the piece I fused. I can but primer cleaner but I was wondering if any other cleaners will remove the residue? I tried windex and a brush and that removed some.

I want to use fiberboard for a drop ring mold. Do I need to treat it with a hardener?
