Thanks for the info, but I'm just cutting no grinding.
Have i read somewhere that a ten minute soak in

Fine/Thin white cut line on glass?

If I fuse one color on top of another color, the top piece being smaller, ie.. 2" square on to a 4" square, sometimes I can see a thin white gray line. This is all 1/8" glass. Are there any methods/tricks to make these lines go away or become very very faint. Is this a result of a nov...

Cigar boxes for scrap glass storage

For those of you who never thought of it, cigar boxes make great storage. They stack easy, you can write on the inside and out and they are free or very cheap. I had mine already laying around the house, but you can get them at a country club, restuarant or at a cigar shop. If you live in the big ci...

Stainless Steel mold ???????

I have a stainless steel bowl with no lip at the
top, just a small edge that is the thickness
of the steel. Can my glass that I will slump into this
mold hang over the rim/lip? 1/2" to 3/4" inches outside?
I learned a few days back this will not work
on a ceramoc drop through.
Thanks

Many thanks to all for the info. I figured out my
drop ring dilemma. Apparently dropping glass on both
sides of the ring aint right. Even though it was just
a little bit (3/4") over on the out side.
Thanks

FYI to bkrgrl If I would have just read a little more in the tutorial section, my drop through project and ring would not be in multiple pieces. The FYI is you can,t have 3/4" glass hanging out over the outter edge of your drop ring. I thought (which is dangerous) the glass would slowly drag in...

Sugarland/Missouri City, about a hour from you. Went to the garage this am to check on a 12" drop through I did last evening, the piece was beautiful but it was also in 10 pieces. The drop ring was in three pieces. Probably a hundred reasons why it came apart and this is why I need some more sc...

I have a kiln and have done approx 15 fusion projects, slumping and a drop through. Want to learn more.... Anyone within ...

Beginner Question about combing .....

Can I try to comb a small fused piece 8" X 8" if

Will the paper let it slide around.
