Does anyone know of a source for a set of affordable sieves to seperate various sizes of frit? All I see on the web are expensive testing sieves.
Thanks.

post-combing questions
I just completed my first combing and am very pleased with the results, except that it stuck to the kiln floor. When I removed it, it pulled up some of the floor( two spots 5/8"-3/4" by about 1/8" deep). What should I use to patch this? Also, why did it stick? I used 12 coats of Flame...

I just saw some pictures of fused ornaments that were hung by a ribbon threaded through a hole in one corner. How do you make the hole? Thanks in advance, and again, thanks for all I've learned from this board.

wire inclusion questions
I'm going to make a pair of small fused earrings for my daughter. I've read about wire inclusion and know to use nichrome. Can I leave a loop outside the glass to attach to the finding, or would it burn away? What guage of nichrome should I use?

newbie kiln wash questions
I'm brand new to this, kiln is on the way. I have a couple of questions about kiln wash. Do you need to let the wash dry between coats? How do you know when a stainless steel mold is properly coated? Thanks in advance for any help and thanks for all I've already learned.
