Everytime that I have done this, the mold cracks on the first firing. Perhaps I'm doing something wrong, but I would try something inexpensive first.

I bought a large quantity of fiber blanket to make molds. What product is best used as a rigidizer and where do I find it???? I am hoping these molds will be able to be used on multiple firings. Thanks, Gail

What type of hardeners are you using and where can I purchase it?? I bought something called "water glass". It was a very thick liquid that I used on fiber blanket. But because of it being such a thick consistency, it didn't soak through. Any suggestions???? Thanks Gail
