honing Machine--can it be a lap grinder?
Could someone advise me on whether I can use this "honing machine" as a lap grinder. I purchased it CHEAP $150.00, but I don't want to invest in 3-4 magnetic discs if it won't preform for me. Here are the specs: DAYTON Split phase motor HP 1/3 RPM 172S 115Volts FLA 6.0 FRS6Z HZ 60 PH1 INS,...

I would first give the teachers and the principal a proposal on what you wish to do . The will give you a laundry list of their own concerns--(as well they should) This may give you a better idea of what the schools comfort level is. I have found the more successes you have in the school volunteer m...

:( I agree with other posts. I only see that you are both using the same technique. I'm sorry if this is bothering you on any level..but please consider this bit of advise I was given many years ago when I had my draft book of poetry stolen and my name was erased and the unmentionable being wrote in...

Silly ?--probably asked before/can't find answer in Archives
I'm fairly sure the answer to this question is yes, but I just wanted to be safe. Can I sandblast--etch on tempered glass? No great carving or any thing--just basically want to mask out an area and frost glass. The glass is approx.6-8mm thick. Thanks in advance ! Greatly appreciated! Kelly Burke Mak...

Thank you for showing photos of the full bail. Better for the visual thinker---like me. I think these photos better describe their usefulness--though they sure look even better with your glass. Love the bails--I'll be punching in my order in the next day or so. Thanks again for sharing..... Kelly Ma...

RioGrande.com I often purchase items from them. Like them, and good quality as well as variety. I just started ordering from Halstead Bead --only bead items -but I believe they sell bails in addition to silver and gold items. ---they did not have 1/2 of what i needed and do not back order items--for...
