Vermiculite Board
I am building a small kiln (a cubic ft.) --- I've seen different boards mentioned to line the kiln with. Delphi Glass has a Vermiculite Board (their number 92807) --- is this something that will work for the inside liner? The outside will be IFB's. I have ceramic blanket left over from our hot glass...

Sandblast Resist
I have been using vinyl that I get from a Sign Shop and they cut the designs for me. Most of the time, I'm working with flat glass or cylinder shapes and the vinyl works fine. I'm working with some bulbous/sphere-like shapes --- the vinyl will bend one way O.K but, when I try to press the rest of it...

Re: Frosted Finish Glass Paint / Enamel

Re: Frosted Finish Glass Paint / Enamel
Valerie, That's not it --- it looks like it might have some interesting affects but the temps are somewhat higher than I usually go. Bert, I tried to Google things before I posted a question --- but after I googled your satin etch --- I came up with a Reusche product. It has a fairly wide firing ran...

Frosted Finish Glass Paint / Enamel
I had some things saved in Favorites and last fall, our PC went to never-never land. One of the things I had was a source for a kiln-fired paint/enamel that fired to a frosted/sand-blasted finish. Does anyone know where I can get this? If there is more than one available --- I would prefer the lower...

Re: Spray A
Bert, Sometime ago, I think you mentioned using the Paasche 62 for shelf primer. Does it have any kind of material control other than the viscosity of the material and/or air pressure? I've looked at pictures of the Critter Gun, it looks like the little tip screws up and down. Does anyone know if yo...
