Thaks everybody for your suggestions.... So Pam, do you mean to tell me you put some buttons in the washer and dryer using Woolite and they all survived? Amazing... and you only used E6000? I am going have to experiment... A new idea I have...I am handpainting cloth strips, rolling them up into a tu...

Searching for button findings...
Where to get button findings (backs) to glue onto glass cabs?
Also, does E-6000 work best for this? I have been happy with it in the past and am wondering other's feedback.
Thanks!

This sounds like a situation that you should handle quickly. I always have 2 copies of the inventory list I'm delivering to the gallery/shop (I do a simple version in Excel). We sign both of them and they get one, I keep one. Do you have a contract with them? If not, write a simple one up yourself, ...

I have a nightmare kiln story. Bought a very expenisve raku kiln from Laguna Clay. Took them 3 months to get the kiln delivered to my door anfter calling them EVERY day to remind them of this order (I had paid in full up front). The guys delivered the kiln and it was set up for the wrong outlet, not...

I have 3 ceramic kilns that I use for both glass and ceramics. I love the versatility. I've made really large pieces with double layer glass and 24 inches wide. My suggestions: Go slow. You can go much faster when firng ceramics. Be careful with glass. I'm overly cautious but have had great luck so ...

My business is mainly wholesale now having sold on consignment and retail art shows for the past 8 years. A couple of years ago I figured out the galleries were taking 50% which is the same as wholesale! The advantage to wholesale is that customers place the order, pay me and then I make the pieces....
