Re: hire fire glue?
what are you trying to do? Are you trying to avoid an extra firing instead of first doing a tack fuse and then slumping?

Re: Artist Rep
Thanks Tom. This gives me a lot more to think about. If I go forward with this, the contract is going to be critical. I definitely don't want to give up existing accounts.

Re: Artist Rep
Thanks Marty. Debbie and I had a few reps stop by to talk with us at the show this week. I am definitely concerned about some of the issues you outline here. After 10+ hour days at the show this week, the thought of paying someone to do this sounds wonderful but I need some distance from that so I c...

Artist Rep
I was approached at a recent wholesale show by a couple of people who want to discuss representing me. Pros and cons from anyone who has done this? After a long 4 day wholesale show plus setup and breakdown, I would love to turn the marketing over to someone else and spend time on "my art"...

Re: INLAND LAPIDARY SwapTop All-In-Wonder 8" TRIM SAW, FLAT
my sweet husband thought he was doing me a favor when my 20+ year old grinder failed and bought this for me with all the attachments. It is a fine grinder.....as a small lap or saw it is terrible.

Re: Display panels for show
Thank you for the suggestions. we are planning our booth design. We have the pedestals but need to figure out how to display mirrors and other wall hangings. I'll give Craigs List a look. I also like Cynthia's process but we'll see how to do it taller like Marty suggests

Display panels for show
I'm looking for suggestions/recommendations on hanging display items in a show booth. I've looked at Pro Panels and would prefer not to spend the money on them at this point in my sales career. I'd love suggestions on how those of you that are doing shows display your wall art/mirrors/etc. thanks fo...

RTV Silicone recommendation
I'm going to experiment with casting and I want to make reusable molds. I'm looking for recommendations on what RTV silicone product(s) you've found success using. Thanks for any guidance you can offer!

Re: Drop Ring - Kiln w/o a peep hole
I do a lot of drop rings lately and my peep hole doesn't give me a good enough view so I always open the lid to check. The temp drops when I do it so I don't start timing when to look again until it has risen back to processing temp. As to how long to wait...mileage varies depending on too many fact...

Re: square up on straight talk
A debit card requires both the card information and your PIN to work. Square and the others from PayPal and the like do not accept debit cards per se. To use a card tied directly to your bank account, the card has to be a Visa or MasterCard branded debit card. These type can work like credit cards a...

Re: 4-layer full fuse firing question
I've done this successfully in 2 steps. First was to full fuse the back piece. Second was to put the two pieces together and do a tack fuse. I was very conservative in the firing schedule to prevent thermal shock. Also, remember to anneal for the thickness of the piece.

Re: Where are my posts?
If I use the application and not the browser to navigate back/forth with my draft messages, everything works fine regardless of browser type. I can replicate the issue Mike is reporting when I use IE; it doesn't happen in Firefox. I can't any significant discussion about this on the phpbb site so I'...
