Refusing a smashed work

Brad, I’ve just emailed three photos of a smashed, glass canoe I made many years ago. The owner would like it repaired. Is it possible to refuse all the pieces onto a clear sheet? Will I need to help the pieces join by boxing it in or going into the kiln with a wooden tool when hot and fusing? Anyon...

Re: Rigidizing fibreboard

Thanks guys. I went to 820 C before seeing the replies. The blue cement has turned white and all seems good. I now have a new, flat, bigger shelf on top of the old one.
Kevin, what is crystobalite?

Rigidizing fibreboard

I’ve rigidized, fired and cemented a fibreboard in an effort to make a new kiln shelf for my 2417 Evenheat. Does anyone know what temp Celsius I need to fire the cemented fibreboard? I used QF 180 blue as the cement.
Thanks in anticipation

Stuck stringer bowl

A slumped stringer bowl is firmly stuck in its stainless steel sink mould. I don't think the glass is stuck to the steel. I think it's pinched by the contracted steel. The mould was sprayed with release using an air gun, four applications. The stringer bowl is four perpendicular layers of 1mm clear ...

Bullseye 1015

Does anyone out have experience with bullseye 1015 ? I'm wondering what variation may happen with multiple layers of silver between clear and 1015 on top?
Also has anyone experienced the spread of the reaction outside of the 1015 that bullseye warns about in their notes on 1015?

Food safe adhesive?

Does anyone know of a food safe adhesive for glass and/or ceramics?
Have asked Loctite who replied that they don't have one in my area (Australia)
