I am just now returning to warm glass. I have been away because one of my good friends almost died from e coli and my sister has stage 4 cancer. Unfortunately, I haven't found the time or energy to post on here or even look at posts for that matter. I sure would prefer to work on some glass projects...

I made this piece for an art and music festival last weekend.

Had an early flight out the next morning so couldn't stay for the evening. I bet it was stunning.

I had the opportunity to see the Chihuly exhibit at the gardens. I hope you enjoy the photos.

I've used steel blue powder uncapped or capped and it stays blue.

I used plastic eggs and did the freeze and fuse technique. Once out of the freezer I tried to smooth them a little more and rolled them in some glass powder.

I have always been interested in the Folk Art related to the Day of the Dead holiday.
It's springtime and I finally finished my first bird nest. I started it around Christmas time. LOL.

I am so sorry about your little dog. I am a veterinarian and I see a lot of cancer in dogs. I don't know if it is more prevalent or if we are diagnosing it better due to more specialized equipment we have available now. I do believe environmental factors play a big role in it as well. Has anyone ever built their own website using Tumbler or Word Press. How hard is it?

There's also a product call Goo Gone. Then I would wash the glass with dawn dishwashing liquid.

I am using the abstract drape mold from Delphi.

The glass came from a roll out I did in Richard la Londe's master class. When the piece cracked I just placed the two together on the mold and slumped it. It's clear glass with frit and stringer. I am happy with it considering it took me three tries.
