Excellent Advise! All the AIM links I found were dead. Have sent them a request for a new thermocouple.
I also am going to buy a spare.

AIM thermocoupler insulation chipped.
My ancient AIM 84J kiln thermo probe somehow got about 1/4" of the ceramic (?) chipped off. The wires are undamaged but exposed for the length of the chip. I've been unable to find the thermocouple part on the Internet. This is an analog kiln. Does anyone have a source for the thermocouple or a...
