I had been told by another fuser that you had to fuse frit (powder and fine) at about 1385 or it would literally burn off some of it, thus losing some of the design. I am glad that you and Jerry have set me straight on that. Thanks to you both

Thanks so much for the additional information. If I understand you correctly the glass, in effect, sealed off the lower area hence a bubble where the steam couldn't escape. Thanks also regarding a different temp.

I finally purchsed thinfire paper from another supplier. Absolutely do not like the stuff, however, it is my understanding that it is all that is available now.
