If nothing else, you can use irid on the backs of your jewelry pieces to give them a nice finishing touch.

After you apply several layers of kilnwash take and apply just water with your brush. I lay down the same number of coats of water as I had kilnwash. As with kilnwash, the least brush strokes the better. Add to your "hold" time when you pre-fire your shelf. Good luck!
