i wonder, the larger the kiln is it harder to have even heat throughout. or are you more likely to have varying results depending where in the kiln the glass is. this question is for top firing kilns?

classes or personal tutorial on vancouver island?

hellu... does anyone teach a class or is willing to do a personal tutorial on fusing, slumping and casting glass. i'm a relative newbie but do have the basics, i've been fusing jewelry for 6 months. anyone on vancouver island or the lower mainland?

glass saw, how thin can it go?

i'm looking for a better way to cut millefiori canes than with nippers. how thin can i slice a can using a glass saw? anyone know.

thanks richard that sounds like a good way to go. this is gonna sound stupid but you heat up the ends of the jump rings and some how push them together without burning yourself? i'm a total newbie here.
