spray kiln shelf
Is it effective to spray kiln on a shelf using a simple household spray bottle - one you'd use to spray water on plants? If someone could give me some additional tips for cutting 2mm stringers, I'd be grateful. Doing my best to follow Cynthia's advice but I cannot seem to cut the stringers so they are all the same length. The piece I am working on has a base of two 2 mm pieces of tekta, with a design consisting of 2mm...

I love this forum too
While I've not had much time for fusing in many months due to busy work schedule and family responsibilities, I frequently read this forum and love the way it keeps fused glass alive for me
Thank you to all

Sand corner of mold?
Happy holidays to all Finally have time to get back into my studio and I noticed a couple of the corners on BE molds are deteriorating slightly. Would you recommend sanding them a bit to even it out and then reapplying kiln wash ? Can I reapply kiln wash just to those spots or should I reapply it to...

Valerie and others,
What kind of general maintenance do you suggest for a kiln?
I vacuum the elements and inside
What else?
Thanks

Temps in the mid hudson valley of NY will be below zero at night and single digits during the day. Does anyone think there are issues I...
