thanks rosanna, i fired to 1650 for an hour but must be some stubborn glass, just looks like broken glass stuck together in a pile. all in all though i am happy to hear from you again and am still using some of the bullseye frit you sent to me years ago, thank you for being one of the best. scotty.

Hi All, have been having trouble finding out how to melt crushed bottles. I have crushed some and put a pile of glass in my kiln but have not figured out a proper way or schedule to just make a puddle of glass. Am simply using crushed blue bud light platinum bottles, am not sure if I didn't heat to ...

Tile Saw
Hi All, Been staring at the tile saws in Home Depot every time I walk in. Should I just by one of them & do I need a special blade for cutting glass instead of tile? Thanks You'All.

Rounding edges on wine bottle for a glass...
Was wondering if I need to grind & then polish by hand (as I don't have a wet belt sander), or if a wine bottle (1.5 Liter Clear) cut w/bottle cutter can be fired (to round the top drinking rim) to use as drinking glasses. If firing is possible maybe a guess of a firing schedule? Thank you'all f...

You can use Unique Glass Paints in an airbrush. They're inexpensive, have lead-free food safe in 1 oz. liquid.

Whittemore-Durgin Stained Glass has quite a few leaf, flower, etc., stainless steel molds that are very inexpensive. It's an old Co. in the north, nice people & very cool to deal with. http://www.penrose.com.
