Re: Bartlett controller V6-CF - resetting a programme, HOW?

Many thanks, Sherry!

It was MY mistake - I mistook the second "S" in 'segs' to the number 5 - therefore did not know what to do. The next morning talked to the electrician who installed the controller, and he led me to the solution.

Very grateful for your response and links.

Schedule for kiln pressed glass - for Uroboros

Hello everybody, I discovered a nice pack of Uroboros glass in my storage. Some of it is very nice colors.Eventhough its COE is 90 - it is fired on different schedule than BE. Being weak in numbers, I would appreciate it if anybody could refer me to Uroboros firing schedule for SMOOSHED GLASS, or UN...

Re: What can I do to save this piece?

Thanks , Brad

had to look for the meaning of "divots". in order to answer you.
The piece is absolutely flat, so there is no need to flip and fire.

Decided to keep it as is, for the time being.

Anyhow thanks for the lesson

Re: What can I do to save this piece?

Thanks, Brad and Jim please excuse my limited understanding. Should I re-fire the piece thru the whole process of kiln-pressing? If not, if you mean regular firing, what temprature should I reach?? And then what? The back side will be fire polished, while I could sift some powder and fire polish the...

What can I do to save this piece?

Hi Happy new year everybody. The piece I am showing went into the kiln in 2020, came out this morning - 2021. I am posting the front and the back sides. Please, if you do not really like it - do not 'like' it. It is a kiln-pressed piece, it thickness is 1 [one!] millimeter... Its size is 27 by 28 c'...

Re: Concerning firing enamels

Thanks, Dianne I love the idiom "foolproof" it is applicable for me. I have a whole stock of colorline enamels at home, some of the are old and actually useless. Anyhow I'd like to buy powders - i assume they are safer to keep, in the long run. Thanks for your imput about separating the bl...

Re: Concerning firing enamels

Those inks are made by Creative Glass in Switzerland, where I took a class, and consequently bought some inks AND paints. [the inks are more concentrated than the paints] However ...

Concerning firing enamels

Hello dear friends, I hope you and yours are healthy and safe regarding the COVID 19 Recently I have been firing enamels... I printed leaves on the glass, then fired them. I fired 1 piece on my smaller Paragon [17" octagonal] to 730C, 1346F The piece came OK as far as technique. I fired 4 piece...

What does this mean? [sorry for my poor English]
Does it wear out quickly?? i.e. Does not last long?
Or
Does this mean that it can't fire high?

Thanks,
Havi
