In my kilns I need less heat to get the same results in my fiber kiln than in my bricj kiln. Adjust your schedules.

Just fire it at 9999 up to top temp and hold for 15 OR so min. Leave out a peephole plug or vent in some other fashion throughout. The firing.

you can smooth rough feeling paper by sprinkleing with dry kw or alumina hydrate and rubbing that around with your hand or a dry paint brush.

A single 3mm piece of glass, or was it two 3mm sheets for 6mm total? If one sheet, that's the problem. Other than that, was the kiln shelf with kiln wash dry? If not, bubbles. Do you have a picture of the bubbles? That will help a lot, too. Change the 300 DPH to 1425 to AFAP to 1425. No reason to g...

gold LEAF generally dissapears into the glass. gold FOIL is what you want for fusing. rosanna
