Does anyone have any experience with multiple investment firings? How many times can you reinvest and then reheat red before it color strikes black/grey? If you avoid the high temperatures will it prevent it from striking? Is the selinium colors the only thing that strikes on reheat? Thanks :roll: ...

Cool. I use old woks from the thrift store...$1 apiece..for medium sizes. Orange County Metalworks (Dave, pretty close!) will custom make any size you want up to 20 ft. dia., but they get spendy. They added a $100 setup fee, which made a 24" x 3" deep stainless steel platter mold 1/8"...

Hi Are there any chances of makimg kiln casting from a pot melt, with float glass, without devit? Can I add Borax to the pot? Thanks Luiza Flux oxides etc Will assist inthe melt n reduce devit But it is more aggressive on the shelf It can actualy eat in2 batwash n even well in2 the shelf :mrgreen:

Never found a stainless wok of the size I needed so had a potter throw me a mold to bend into that is like a ball mold or wok but nice and big.
