problems with float and flosing

hello friends.i fused 8 float saint gobain pieces of 5 millimeters clear belove tinned side using flosing vidriarte with some circles on.
in 4 pieces around circles i see a light clear beige " halo"around.
seems problems about tinned side..but this was placed right.
What do you think?why only in 4 pieces and not in all?program was for all the same....
any helps will be appreciate.mike.sorry for my"bad english"..i am an italian.

Did you grind the edges of the circles? That seems to cause halos. The Vidriarte is glass with an enamel coating on one surface isn't it? The edge is giving you the halo effect one way or another. I doubt that tin is the reason for your halo.

yes vidriate is glass with an enamel coating on one surface .
sorry i have not understood what to come into...edging
i have use dry belt sander to only to edge flosing....
what is there uncorecct?flosing do not edge?

Mike

You have 2 choices. One is do not edge (you can remove the sharp edge by sanding lightly at a 45Âº angle to the top and bottom edge). The second is to continue grinding the edge to at least a 400 grit belt and then clean the edges really good. Some people scrub them with a tooth brush.

thanks for your suggestions.
i done both your suggestions but grit belt was 200 instead 400 ad you said.
i think is not problem of edging.
i used same programs,same procedure in all 8 glasses and only in 4 there was an halo!
i think isn t flosing problems.
i think could be some float problem....as if neuter side of flaot glass is a lot of tinned for me.

for exemple biggest circe is 12 centimeters...halo in 1 centimeter bigger around biggest circle for all circles.

what do you think?
