frit lace rescue

Post by Michael Stevens »

It seems a little light and if I remove it from. the kiln shelf there will be pieces fall off. can you cap it and refire it without changing kiln paper.

as long as the paper is not torn or disturbed and you can not see the kiln shelf, you can reuse it.

Thanks Jim. saves a lot of tedious work rearranging little frit mounds by hand. I. wish I. had a long handled spoon so I could drop some extra frit during firing in case some areas are lighter.

Hey, Michael.
Would you be so kind as to let us know how your 2nd firing on the kiln paper turned out?
Thanks.
