bubbles

Post by Michael Stevens »

The glass that I purchase has a lot of micro bubbles and often folds, when I make beads I really don't want bubbles, but Even with a 20 minute bubble squeeze still has bubbles.

ify beads 12mm to 18mm size, have bubbles will a fire polish/ or fuse again and add a longer bubble squeeze of maybe 60. minutes will that remove pre existing bubbles

I am sorry to inform you that if these are "micro"bubbles, then you are stuck with them unless you can figure
out a way to remelt the glass and hold for a long time.

Bullseye considers the micro bubbles a "feature" of the handmade glass aspect. I think they also consider the "runs" on the top surface the same, but those certainly cause me a lot of problems when trying to match the gradient in dichroic glass.
