Bullseye Alchemy & silver stain

Post by Don Burt »

I got some of Bullseye's two 'Alchemy' clear glasses and tried some silver stain on it. THese are light applications of airbrushed silver stain from different manufacturers. The BE1015 looks like it more reactive than the tin side of float glass. Neither glass seems as reactive to my stains as BE1009.

Don,
Thank you for posting your silver stain test strips. I recently purchased a small amount of Reusche silver stain and am still researching how to use it and what type of results are possible - big learning curve needed on my end! I appreciate you pushing me forward!
All the best,
Patty

Thanks Patty. Ken Leap's Silver Stain book is a valuable source of info. Its a small book, and kind of expensive, but it was worth it to me.
