looking for very old posts

Post by Cristi L »

Hello- I remember seeing (years ago) a post about making fused boxes using solid pieces for the walls, packing with sand and using a flux to fuse the corners.
I would love to find that. Any suggestions? I think it was in the long ago old board. Many thanks-

Hi,
Ron Coleman made a number of fabulous boxes and shared the boxes and how to make years ago. Brad was going to ( I think) try and garner Ron's old posts and pics because the posts had been lost as the board migrated from one version to another. I haven't heard it mentioned In a while but I'll bet brad could give you more details.

Ron's old information is on my computer, but I've been unable to get permission from his widow to post them and wouldn't want to do anything against her wishes. I also have a full set of slides of Ron's process that he gave me before he passed away, which I also hope to get permission to share with others.

The information about the making of Ron's boxes is online at archive.org at this link: https://web.archive.org/web/20021022133 ... essel.html and here also: https://web.archive.org/web/20021210063 ... x/box.html
