Heat effecting large fused tile

Post by AZSUE »

I am getting ready to fuse a 24 x 24 tile.
my client is going to use it as decoration behing a stove.

Does any one think the heat from the oven would cause it to crack? some where down the road?
is there any thing I can do to help prevent it?

Thanks for any help!

no, if the glass is properly annealled. most people have drywall behind their stove. if an oven gave off enough heat. that would catch fire long before glass would have had a problem.
