Bob Leatherbarrow's Class
I did it! I registered for Bob (Cheers) Leatherbarrow's class on
Frit and Powders at Vitrum in May!! I can hardly wait.
Will anyone else on the Board be attending? I'd really like to meet
some of you.
Bob, I'm looking forward to learning so much from you. Hear you're
a terrific teacher.
Warmly,
Nita
I would have added a very smiley face, but I don't know how yet.[/img]

Jim, I look forward to meeting you in person. Is your wife coming
with you? Margot? I've heard the class is great. I tried for the other
class, too, but it was already filled.
One friend told me Roger's class changed her whole direction in glass. I
heard raves about Bob and his class, too.
Warmly,
Nita

Jim: I'm looking forward to meeting you and Lisa this Friday if you're coming to Roger's lecture at Vitrum (7:30, not part of the class). If not, I'd love to stop in and say hi over the weekend. I just finished Roger's first session workshop and have not quite recovered. We were all so busy that by the end of the last day no one had the energy to stay late...we were all exhausted! This is an excellent workshop. There were too many suggested samples of techniques to finish during the three days, so we picked the ones most interesting. These will be come the backbone of a great reference set that will be added to. The format is 3-1/2 inch square samples.
We will have seen most of Roger's slides in class but attending the Friday lecture will give my impaired short-term memory some extra reinforcement. Have a great trip.

Lisa: Do you know you're opening the door for a proud G'pa to bring his shoebox full of pictures? haha
Nikki & Lisa: Yes, I'm flying in Friday and plan on being at the slide show that evening. I was hoping to meet you both then. I'll call Vitrum again and remind them I'll be there too.
Nita: Don't know if Sue will come along in May, she may not relish be abondoned for several days while I play/learn glass. She will not come this weekend for the same reason.

I'll be there too (heh heh). I've expanded the class on frit and powder to cover some of the new "explorations" with wafers. I'm excited!
Jim, Are you going to bring that little sweetie along too?
Cheers
Bob

morphs and all that.
Threads morph. there is a natural progression, digression, degression in any conversation and I would not expect threads to be any different.
Along the same lines, there are times when inserting a photo in a non photo thread might help to illustrate a point in a discussion. So sometimes photos do have their place.

Nita, Jim, and Cliff.
I signed up for Cheers Bob's frit and powder class too, and am looking forward to meeting you-all. We're going to have a great time. I took his more general class last year at Vitrum and made a huge leap in understanding how different colored powders react with heat and each other.
